At Code Red Animal Project, Inc., we rescue deaf animals and “last call” dogs from local shelters facing euthanasia. The occasional farm animal, dog-friendly cat, or parrot tugs at our heart strings, too, especially when elderly owners are facing health issues. We provide these “urgent” and displaced animals the time, space and resources they need to decompress, heal, socialize, and develop the skills to be successful in their forever homes. CRAP matches our adoptable animals to loving families, and facilitates their transport home, be it local or cross-country. We strive to make a positive change in all of our pursuits and inspire others along the way.

Cody’s Friends Rescue is a volunteer-powered, all-breed dog rescue serving the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Driven by passionate dog lovers, our mission is to save, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need, while advocating for responsible pet ownership and building a compassionate community where every dog has the chance to thrive.

Dallas Australian Shepherd & Herding (DASH) is now an official independent rescue organization sponsored by private foundations and the generous donations of friends, family, previous adoption clients and Dallas-area herding breed lovers who share a mission: to help us find a home for every lost, neglected or abandoned Australian Shepherd.
DASH exists through the generous donations of people like you, and through the tireless efforts of its founders and volunteers. Our dogs are all evaluated for temperament and general disposition. They are given training if they need it, spayed or neutered when of vet-approved age and treated for any existing health issues.

Fuzzy Texan Animal Rescue is a volunteer-powered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected, and abandoned animals—specifically specializing in cleft palate neonates, blind, and special needs babies—from euthanasia to find them loving forever homes. They aim to save lives, provide specialized care, and spread awareness throughout Texas.

Hearty Paws Great Dane Rescue is a 100% foster-based non-profit rescue established in 2024 committed to supporting Great Danes in need. Our goal is to build a compassionate community of animal lovers who rescue, share knowledge, lend resources, and assist with transportation, —all in support of this amazing breed.
To focus our efforts effectively, we currently serve the following areas:
The need for dependable rescues is immense and the lack of resources is so great that we decided to start this rescue. In reality, what we have started is a community that grew from a whisper of an idea that we could make a difference.
We cannot save every dog, but we promise to be committed to EVERY dog that we save. This rescue story begins with us.

TAGG Rescue, short for “Tornado Alley Gentle Giants,” is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to rescuing and rehoming large breed dogs across Texas and the Midwest. Our mission is to provide temporary care and shelter for large breed dogs rescued from shelters, found as strays, or released by owners, with the ultimate goal of finding them permanent, loving homes.
